I think this rating is more my personal preference - I found the mousse very rich and too big for how decadent it was. I was also not a fan of the waffle salad - it had a weird tang. But then I’m not a salad person!

Riz Riz is conveniently located in Marais and has a fairly large space- a number of tables, many of which will accommodate larger group. After checking our reservation, I was quickly seated and offered the choice of an English menu.
Read moreFor food, I settle on the "rice table" which was a bit of a smorgasbord of several dishes on their menu. It came with 8 different size bowls, with another bowl of rice for each of us. There were a few stew/soup style bowls (which were all delicious), some that focused on chickpeas or edamame, another with sweet potatoes waffles, and one with an incredible beef hummus.
If it sounds like a lot of food, it was, even for two people. We both walked away very filled up, though stomach's happy. Pricing was reasonable too, keeping the wallet happy as well. And if you want to keep the night going, there's plenty of places nearby to grab a drink. Cheers!

We had a lovely dinner, starting with the Nachos basket. A fun twist with onions, tomatoes and sesame seeds and hummus and pea dips. My husband had the Dragon’s Curry, and said it had well-balanced flavors and was delicious. I had to try the Sweet Potato Waffles. A completely original dish with savory waffles and guacamole over a bed of salad greens in a mustard vinaigrette. For dessert we shared the Incroyable Chocolat ganache. A decadent but not too sweet treat.

This was one of my top 3 vegan restaurants in Paris, and everything is gluten free too! The variety of dishes was incredible, everything was delicious, and it was beautifully presented. I will definitely return on my next visit to Paris!

I went on my own and the waitress was very lovely, she made an effort to speak to me in English (rare in Paris 🤣).
Read moreThe food was on the healthier side with Thai influences. I had a lovely poke bowl with “forbidden rice” called the black panther with home made pink lemonade.
The portion size was massive so unfortunately I couldn’t try any of the desserts as I was way too full.

I've been several times at Riz Riz and the staff is always friendly.
The 8 courses menu is interesting and allow you to test every dish.
However, the last time I went there, I took the "Black Panther" and it was quite disappointing (only 3 small pieces of carrot, not much seasoning)
Pros: beaucoup de choix / lot of choices, 100% vegan, équipe agréable / friendly staff
Cons: plat un peu décevant / dish quite disappointing

Had a fantastic meal here while on a long weekend in Paris. The restaurant is bright and airy with super friendly staff. I had the potato waffles which where fantastic and would 100% recommend.
